7.2 Tableau Environment
Do you have your Tableau for Education account and free 1-year student license yet? If not, you can still get started with the videos below by using the free 2-week trial version of Tableau until your license key arrives by email. Download this dataset below to follow along with the videos.
The videos below mimic the same publicly available playlist that Tableau provides on their own website. The reason I made my own for my students is because Tableau's videos use the Tableau Cloud edition and students do not have access to that. As you have likely noticed, students get a free version of the Tableau Desktop edition. The videos below use Tableau Desktop so that students can follow along. In addition, the videos below are longer than those that Tableau provides because I find that students who are new to Tableau often need a lot more context and explanation than the short free videos provided by Tableau can provide.
