0.1 Organization of Information
Information in this course is organized into lessons. Each lesson covers a set of related topics and will include

Embedded or linked readings and videos that are clear and easy to understand

Instructional graphics or charts that reinforce learning in a visual format
Glossary terms that are called out in blue and bolded the first time they appear
Hovering over a glossary term makes its definition appear. You can also access the overall glossary from the right-hand menu in the course to search terms and view their definitions.
Customizing the Materials
This textbook allows you to display text and images based on the version of Microsoft Office you are using. Use the following steps to adjust the MyEducator settings to match your version of Microsoft Office.

Click Advanced Options in the menu on the right-hand side of the screen.

Select the version of Excel that corresponds with the version you are using, and click Save.
You will now see instructions based on your selected version.
Practice and Assess Learning
As you work through the content, you will have many opportunities to practice and reinforce what you are learning. The practice will take one of these forms:

Practice problems embedded throughout each lesson give you the chance to practice the concept that you are learning. Learning checks provide hints and targeted, immediate feedback to guide you if you struggle.

Test your skills assessments give you the opportunity to do a quick self-check to assess your understanding of the material before moving on to the next lesson.
Grading Assignments
Each of the assignments in this course is a hands-on experience. Tasks are scored automatically. You will want to carefully read the instructions for the tasks and review the automated feedback you receive when you have completed an assignment. Grades for each assignment are automatically uploaded and stored in a course gradebook.
