Unavailable Options

The What-If tools, Scenarios, Goal Seek, and Data Tables are currently not available in the online version of Excel. Switch your book to either the Windows or Mac version of to learn about these tools.

To switch to a desktop version:

  1. Click Advanced Options in the menu on the right-hand side of the screen.

  2. Select the version of Excel that corresponds with the version you want to use and click Save.

You will now see instructions based on your selected version.
