Sign Up For $100 Student Credit

The first thing you need to do is get your student account and $100 credit. Watch one of the videos below depending on whether or not you've ever received this credit in the past.

First Time Students

Begin by going to: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free/students. It will require you to use an email address that ends in .edu and will ask you to verify your student status. If it helps, you may want to follow along with this video of me signing up for AMLS with a first time account:

Renewal After First Year

If you already have an existing Azure account and have verified your student status in the past, you may prefer to follow along with this video where I renew my $100 student credit:

If you had an existing Azure account and you are renewing your student credit or adding a student credit to an existing account, then I recommend that you log out of your account completely, close your browser from memory, and then sign in again to your account or you may not see the new Azure for Students subscription.
