22.1 Introduction
Modeling is a tough concept to grasp. If this is the first time you have been introduced to it, then you may find it helpful to practice or walk through more examples. That is the purpose of this chapter. Here you will find repeated examples of datasets that have been taken through modeling processes of several different kinds. Each of them has conceptual questions at the end that will test how well you understand the case. Your instructor may assign you to complete some of these.
Additionally, you will notice while each of the case studies follow the CRISP-DM framework, some of them are based as management decision support case studies while others may be crafted as ML pipelines. It would be good for you to be familiar with both types.
