  1. Based on the “quality is important” discussion, list three products where you believe quality is the single biggest factor when customers purchase those items. If you could reduce the price by 50%, but the quality only was reduced by 10%, would you still purchase those products from that supplier or would you switch, and why?

  2. Explain the differences between TQM, Six Sigma, and lean.

  3. Briefly describe what each guru’s significant contribution(s) was to the overall advancement of the quality literature and knowledge.

  4. Finally, use a process that you do for others in your life (i.e., cooking, cleaning, and so on) as your basis. Create the customer requirements and customer capabilities portion of a House of Quality QFD model.
