While the tools presented here are not exhaustive, they offer a solid foundation to improve existing business processes. The other topics in this book add more tools to your toolkit. Aspiring leaders need to understand and apply the essential tools in day-to-day operations. We usually don’t have to be the person that designs the tool; rather, we are part of the team that will apply these tools to examine processes for improvement.
