1.5 Conclusion
Two of the main difficulties in using technology to solve problems include going over budget and over schedule. Part of the problem is the wrong problem being solved or solutions being implemented that are not feasible.
Technology has become an essential ingredient in problem-solving and, if implemented correctly, can change the world. Think of some of the most critical problems the world currently faces: hunger, disease, lack of education, lack of healthcare, generating inexpensive power, protecting the environment, and improving communication to name a few.
Think about it! Whether you implement common problem-solving steps or the root cause analysis, technology can be involved in solving all of these problems and you can be a part of it. You can implement the skills you have learned to solve not only technology problems but any problem you encounter.
