Lessons from a Disney Leadership Journey
When I joined the Disney organization in 1991, I did not know I was embarking on a whirlwind 26-year career and would be given the opportunity to run a wide variety of departments as well as some of the world’s largest hotels, not to mention the most famous theme park of all: Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, Florida.
I learned a lot along the way and can honestly say that not a week went by when I wasn’t unearthing some new leadership insights. In retrospect, I wish I could do it all over again knowing what I know now . . .
So when I decided to leave the Disney organization, I made it my mission to share these leadership principles with the next generation of leaders and help them shorten the learning curve.
This course, drawn from my book How’s the Culture in Your Kingdom? will provide you with thought-provoking insights and give you a deeper understanding of what it takes to be a successful leader in an organization.
These insights are context neutral and can be leveraged in any organization, for any team, big or small, regardless of its industry. I know that learning from a leader’s best practices will enable you to accelerate your personal development and it will power you to become the best you can be and help you achieve success in your life . . . and dare I say, bring some pixie dust to your career.
Best,
Dan Cockerell
