6.2 Introduction

This case contains the following assessments:

• Amortization: This assessment has the student create two amortizatin tables and analyise the outcome if a payment is skipped.

• Amortization 30 vs 15 loan terms: This assessment has the student create a 30-year and 15-year amortization tables. They then do calculations to compare the difference between the loans.

• Stock Gift: This assessment has a gift of 25 Google stocks and analysis how much would be gained if Microsoft or Apple stock ws bought instead. Analysis is for a 3-year period.

• Calculate Letter Grade: This assessment was written for UVU. Calculates a grade based on five know inputs and a projected final exam. Can be modified for any course grading structure.

• Exponential Projection: This assessment has the student help the company predict how many units are needed if the company expects exponential growth over the next year.
