1.3 Basic Calculations
Basic calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division can be performed in Excel by referencing two or more cells and using operators to perform the function. In Excel, addition is represented by the + sign, subtraction is represented by the - sign, multiplication is represented by the * sign, and division is represented by the / sign.
