Organization of Information

Information in this course is organized into lessons. Each lesson covers a set of related accounting topics and will include the following:

  • A brief description of the assignment's content.

  • A description of each Excel skill you will need to complete the assignment; descriptions include instructional graphics or videos to reinforce learning with a visual format.

Customizing the Materials

This textbook allows you to display text and images based on the version of Microsoft Excel you are using. Use the following steps to adjust the MyEducator settings to match your version of Microsoft Excel.

  1. Click Advanced Options in the menu on the right-hand side of the screen.

  2. Select the version of Excel that corresponds with the version you are using, then click Save.

You will now see content and instructions based on your selected version.

Grading Assignments

Each of the assignments in this course is a hands-on experience. Tasks are scored automatically. You will want to carefully read the instructions for the tasks and review the automated feedback you receive when you have completed an assignment. Grades for each assignment are automatically uploaded and stored in a course gradebook.
