1.10 Drop-Down Lists
Dropdown lists can be used to access pre-loaded information in Excel. For these assignments, you will not be asked to create the drop-down list. You will only be asked to use the existing list to select the appropriate answer from the options provided to you. Simply hover over the cell where you need to input an answer, and click on the downward pointing arrow, as shown in the image below. After the list shows up, click on appropriate list item. As you can see form the example, the selection is the Cash account, which then shows up in the cell where it was intended to be inputted.
